Built in 1927 in the heart of historic downtown Ogden, Hotel Ben Lomond is conveniently located near large meeting and conference centers, local microbreweries, exquisite restaurants, exhilarating night clubs, intriguing shops, and world-class skiing. What's Distinctive?

Built in 1927, the Hotel Ben Lomond is an Ogden, Utah luxury accommodation that
reflects the era’s grand tradition of spacious and comfortable lodging.  Originally
named the Reed Hotel and later the Bigelow Hotel, the hotel was built in the
architectural tradition of the Italian Renaissance Revival.

In 1928, the hotel enjoyed national recognition when it hosted the Western Democrats convention, shortly after being featured in an October 1927 issue of Time Magazine.  In 1933, Marriner S. Eccles acquired the hotel and renamed it the Ben Lomond Hotel, after a spectacular mountain located in the southern Scottish Highlands.  In 1990 the Ben Lomond was added to the National Register of Historic Places as a building worthy of preservation.

Although the building has changed owners and names over time, the Hotel Ben Lomond has remained throughout a luxurious building, a Utah landmark, and a testament to the growth and economic development of Weber County in the beginning of the 20th century.
