Frontier Files for Chapter 11

While Frontier Airlines has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, the move appears to be purely strategical and is not expected to affect its flight schedule—including recently announced new service to eight regional destinations in Colorado by affiliates Republic Air and Lynx Aviation. Among the new flights are daily nonstops from Denver to Durango-La Plata County Airport (DRO), Colorado Springs Municipal Airport (COS), Aspen/Pitkin County Airport (ASE) and Walker Field Airport (GJT) in Grand Junction; the new flights will all be operating by May 15. frontierairlines.com
